She has a personal relationship with us and she is always responsive to any question or to provide a sub quickly when we need someone. The care givers are knowledgeable, reliable, and friendly. Each has been punctual and did not sit around doing nothing when my spouse was napping or otherwise engaged. Everyone, including Sibo, was completely respectful of my spouse and his needs -- never talking down to him and treating him like a child -- and all were absolutely trustworthy. You can rely on Sibo and Trusted Touch with loved ones' at-home care.read less

I sought a female caregiver who would stay overnight to help with bathing, bathroom, food preparation, light housekeeping and care of three cats. Sibo was great. She listened attentively to my family member’s plight, the specific needs, and timeframe for care. In a timely manner, she identified two caregivers whom we interviewed by Skype. Both were fully acceptable. The draft contract contained nothing unexpected. Although we decided not to contract for care, this does not reflect badly on Trusted Touch. They were highly professional, provided timely communications, and even followed up after the surgery date to see how the member was doing. I would not hesitate to contact them again if the need arose.read less

Sibo and her team have been there for my family during a very difficult time with my mom and no words can adequately express the depth of gratitude that we feel for their exceptional care.
The anxiety, stress and uncertainty that comes when a loved one’s health is compromised can be overwhelming, especially when family cannot be there to oversee the day-to-day needs of a parent. However, rest assured that if Trusted Touch takes the reigns, you are in great hands. From the moment I first met Sibo, and her nurse Lindie, I felt a comfort and calm come over me that I had not felt since my mom fell ill. I am so impressed by Sibo’s professionalism; her palpable and genuine empathy for my mom and our family; the care and thought that she devoted to finding the right live-in caregivers for my mom – not only care providers who met mom’s everyday needs, but individuals who are a good match personality-wise; her uncanny ability to manage unforeseen circumstances and tireless work to find the right fill in should a care provider call out sick (which can happen); the regular “check ins” and follow up to ensure that my mother continues to be content with the level of care she is receiving; and, above all, a depth of kindness and compassion that I have not experienced from any other caregiving organization - ever.
This has been a very difficult journey for my mother, but I take comfort in knowing with absolute certainty that as she continues on her road to recovery, she has received the highest caliber of care from loving, gentle, and exceptionally-trained Trusted Touch caregivers. Thank you Sibo – we will be forever grateful to you and your Trusted Touch team.read less

The Alzheimer’s Association reports that Maryland is the host to approximately 110,000 people aged 65 and older, currently living with Alzheimer’s.
For many in the Bethesda area, residential care is the “go-to” when thinking about a family member who might be suffering from advancing Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.
There are numerous benefits to in-home care. The team at Trusted Touch Healthcare has put together the following list of benefits from which dementia patients can benefit from in-home care providers.
Home is a safe and serene environment
One of the paramount considerations when caring for people with dementia is that they need a safe, stable, and familiar environment in which to live. Being at home while they receive treatment is a great method of achieving this. Residential care allows your loved one not to have to go through a sudden and total change in surroundings, creating confusion, agitation, and distress.

Having one’s own home provides sufferers of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia independence that residential care would take away. At home, patients can manage their own time, choose what they want to do, and when. Within residential care, such things are often timetabled or regulated to a level that would strip away that autonomy.
Life can go on normally
In their familiar environment, and with their independence intact, dementia patients receiving assistance from an in-home care provider can retain much of their preferred routine. Controlling their own routines is an extension of the serenity and comfort that people feel when they are allowed to remain in the familiar surroundings of home. Losing control of that routine can be counterproductive to a patient’s care.
Bethesda home nursing care
The term “care” invokes images of hospitals, nurses, doctors with clipboards, beeping machinery, and more. For dementia patients, it’s not quite so simple. While they may require more intensive care in the later stages of the disorder, at other times, what they need most is companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, and simply another human being with whom they can engage and connect.
Residential care doesn’t always serve this purpose, and an in-home care solution is more desirable for all parties.
Bethesda home health care
If you have a family member or loved one with dementia, it can be a constant source of worry when you think of them either alone or with limited contact with others. There might be a neighbor who watches out for them or another family member who makes visits. Such care is valuable but lacks an aspect of professional training that causes further worry.
A properly trained in-home caregiver can do more than keep your loved one company and assist in activities of daily life. They can be on-hand for matters of safety like falling or wandering.
The proper supervision from such a caregiver brings priceless peace of mind and provides the protection that the patient needs while retaining their dignity at home.
Bethesda homecare services
Instant communication and remote monitoring means home care is increasingly the most viable and ideal solution for dementia patients. Caring for people with dementia means we need effective methods that allow for patients to retain as much independence and dignity as possible.
In-home care located in Rockville from Trusted Touch Healthcare is an excellent channel through which to pursue these goals.
