Are your agency Nurse Aides available on full time basis only?
Our services are available 24/7 on an hourly basis, full time Or part-time. Sometimes 24/7 care is necessary. In which case we would provide live-in-care.
Are your Nurse Aides trained in caring for a patient with dementia?
It is not a secret that working with Dementia patients can be difficult. Currently 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. A number which is expected to grow to 14 million by 2050. Demand for Alzheimer’s and dementia Care is increasing. Therefore we invest in our caregivers by making sure they receive advanced dementia Care training and certification. Do you do Phlebotomy at home?
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we introduced phlebotomy at home services for all our clients. Blood samples are collected at the comfort of our client’s home and deposited at the lab the same day. The results are forwarded to the client’s physician in a timely manner. In bad weather our clients do not have to leave home for blood work appointments. Phlebotomy comes to them.
Do you have to go with the Home Health company chosen by your doctor at discharge?
No, you do not have to go with the home health company chosen by your doctor after discharge. They are merely a suggestion from your doctor and we encourage you to look at the reviews and services of the Home health company to make sure they are the right fit for you.
Does Trusted Touch Healthcare charge premium rates for providing homecare services during weekends?
We do not charge extra for providing service during weekends. However services provided on a Federal holidays are charged at time-and-half rate.
Does your agency provide transportation to the laboratory for blood work visits?
COVID-19 is here and we’re ready to help. With phlebotomy services offered at home, blood samples are collected in the comfort of your own house–deposited right away so you can get results fast! Our clients won’t need any inconvenient appointments because they’ll be able do everything necessary for their health right from where it’s easiest – at home.
How much advance notice does your agency need to cancel a shift?
We do not charge for canceled shifts. Our relationship with our clients is based on our commitment to them. However we appreciate *three hours notice to cancel a shift.
How to prepare for a Home Health visit?
Determine what questions and concerns you have that you want to be answered. How much help do you need? Are there specific times that you require that help? Etc.
How to tell how much care you need?
Determine how many if any harmful incidents that could cause injury are occurring, what time of the day these incidents are happening, are these incidents consistently happening a lot.
What are the advantages of Live-in care with just one caregiver?
The advantage of live-in-care is continuity of care with one caregiver and cost effective. Additionally a long-term relationship with the client and the client’s family is developed. In these days of COVID-19 pandemic; live-in-care can be vital to the client by minimizing exposure to COVID-19 infection.
What questions should you ask a Home Health care specialist when they do your home review?
- What certifications does the caregiver have
- How is the care customized for your specific needs
- In an emergency for example if a client falls and breaks a hip what specific procedure will the caregiver follow

What services are provided by your Nurse Aides?
Trusted Touch Healthcare uses W-2 employees(No independent Contractors). Our Certified Nurse Aides assist the elderly at home or any place they call home with all personal care, safety supervision, socialization, nutritious meal preparation, meditation management under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, grocery shopping, light housekeeping which includes laundry and transportation to appointments.
What types of care are there (Occupational therapy, Physical therapy, etc.) And how do you know which one you need?
A Registered Nurse will do an assessment to determine the scope of care and also look at any notes that the primary doctor has established on the type of care that will be needed.
